2003: Ornitho.ch is born, creating a sharing space for Swiss ornithologists, the fruit of Gaëtan Delaloye's vision. The project quickly became a success, expanding throughout Switzerland in 2006 and becoming the official portal for the Vogelwarte and LPO France. This expansion led to the creation of Biolovision, marking the start of an international adventure in ornithological data collection and management.

2011: As business grows, the team expands to reinforce the security and sustainability of our services. An international steering committee is set up, launching global collaboration under the Ornitho Family banner.

2014 : The NaturaList mobile app is launched, revolutionizing data capture in the field. Biolovision continues to innovate, responding to growing demands and expanding data collection to other taxonomic groups.

2021-2024: The team continues to grow, integrating an artificial intelligence research cluster and preparing international collaborations beyond Europe. In 2024, Biolovision enters a major strategic turning point, adapting its processes to new data protection regulations, modernizing its digital tools, and doubling its workforce to ensure the long-term sustainability of its services.
